Director of CARPE, John Flynn responds to journlalists questions

Ambassador Gavelink’s monthly press roundtable was held at his residence on Thursday, July 23.  The subject was CARPE – the Central African Regional Program for the Environment.  After brief introductory remarks by the Ambassador, the floor was turned over to John Flynn, director of CARPE.  Flynn gave an opening statement, and then took questions from the journalists.  After the formal question and answer period, Flynn stayed to respond to even more questions from the assembled press, who were given fact sheets and CDs with photographs and maps illustrating the program’s activities.
